Dr. Turcotte grew up in several little towns across Canada and received her undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta in Edmonton (specializing in Animal Biological Sciences.) Dr. Turcotte attended Ontario Veterinary College where she completed her Veterinary Studies with Honours in 2006. She spent a year practicing in Toronto prior to moving to B.C. Her special veterinary interests include exotics (especially reptiles), diagnostic imaging as well as internal medicine.

She has 2 pets, an energetic little frenchie named 'Jimmy' and an older more reserved kitty named 'Almo'. Her hobbies include traveling, virtually any outdoor activities (especially camping and wakeboarding) as well as spending time with close friends and family.
