Dr. Susan Malone graduated with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, after obtaining her Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University in 1997. She has practiced as a veterinarian at the Capilano Pet Hospital since 2004, but has been working at the clinic since 2003, prior to becoming a DVM. Dr. Malone returned from maternity leave early 2009 after having her baby girl, Josephine, in March of 2008.

Dr. Malone lives, works and plays on the North Shore enjoying many outdoor activities including walking her dogs, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. She is kept very busy with her family of "furry children" including two dachshunds, named Rosco and Agent Cooper and her two cats, David and Phillippe.
